What is a head spa?
A head spa is a comprehensive hair and scalp treatment that combines deep cleansing, exfoliation, and a therapeutic massage to promote both scalp and hair health and deep relaxation.
​There are numerous types available - Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Vietmanese and Indian to name a few:
Japanese is relaxation and wellbeing, tension relief, nervous system reset and scalp condition improvement. We also stimulate hair growth in all of the styles.
Chinese is very deep treatment focus on balancing yin and yang work on meridians.
Korean is focused on scalp and hair health, as well as hair growth, and technique-based.
Vietnamese practices relaxation, promotes scalp and hair health, and utilizes herbs and oils for improvement.
Indian is about deeply nourishing the hair and scalp, using oils mostly.

I use a mix of all of these techniques to continue the basis and passion of my clinic practice to bring the body back to 'Rest and Digest'. My principal is to work on the sympathetic Nerve 'freeze, flight and flight' and putting you back to the rest and digest mode of the parasympathetic nerve into a calm state. The vagus nerve is vital to slow many body functions and working on this cranial nerve will help the central nervous system cope much better with processing pain and becoming more body aware. We offer four luxurious Head Spa treatments, each designed to restore balance, relaxation, and scalp health. All services include access to our Self‑Service Hair Dry‑Off Station.

​Our facials use the beautiful Fleur De Mer Cosmeceuticals products range, which is a privately owned Australian company. It's cosmeceutical products are formulated with unique technology to provide quick, visible results for a variety of skin problems, skin sensitivites, mature skin or just to ensure lovelier, more youthful looking skin. The range is specificaly formulated for Australian conditions and are available in Australia and New Zealand only.

Our Head Spa use the product range from Sakura Hair Care, a premium sulfate-Free shampoo and conditioner range for all hair types. They are designed to cleanse gently while nourishing the scalp. From dry and damaged hair to colour-treated and sensitive scalps. The range used also includes a repair hair mask and scalp scrub.

Enjoying our product range? Then continue your feeling of clean and fresh scalp and hair with take home products available for purchase. The in-stock range is the same used in the clinic: Peppermint Clarifying, Ultimate Cleanse, and Blonde shampoo and conditioners in a convenient 250ml size. Repair mask 250ml and Green Tea scalp scrub tubs 200ml are also available for purchase.

Self‑Service Hair Dry‑Off Station
Please bring your own styling and post‑shampoo care products.
For your convenience, a hair dryer with diffuser is provided in the bathroom should you wish to dry your hair before leaving.

As we celebrate our first week at Clinic 2.0, I am excited to unveil our new Foot Soak Service starting in January 2026.

This treatment is designed to provide relaxation and tranquility, featuring a 30-minute foot soak with calming scents and warm water.
Imagine Orange, Lavender, Rose or Mint to choose from as your feet are treated to a sugar scrub and finished with a nourishing mask or moisturizing massage.

To complement the experience, enjoy a selection of herbal teas or Orange water. We're refining our workflow to ensure a seamless experience for our clients.
